The Last Seder

Based on her hit play, Jennifer Maisel’s screenplay, The Last Seder, won Showtime’s Tony Cox Award.  Rosalind Productions produced the play Off-Broadway in 2012-13 and plans to begin shooting the feature film adaptation in 2026. The four Price sisters reunite for their last Passover before their exhausted mother sells the family home and their charismatic father is put in a facility for Alzheimer’s.  For the Prices, the next few days are full of unexpected connections and confrontations with their nuclear family, as well as their partners.  With its great blend of humor and emotion, The Last Seder has the potential to become a beloved holiday classic, offering a timeless exploration of love and loss, community, tradition, and generational renewal, told through the eyes of a Long Island Jewish family.
