Crumbs from the Table of Joy
The first New York revival of this early drama by two-time Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright, Lynn Nottage, explored the complexities of race, family and growing up in 1950’s Brooklyn. The story follows a high school senior and aspiring writer, as she navigates her new life with her widowed father and radical aunt while confronting the changing social landscape of post-war America.
The New York Times called this production, “A pleasure!”
