Abigail Rose
Solomon has worked in every aspect of the theater, from scenic designer to
box office manager, from director to backstage crew. In 2005, she
founded Rosalind Productions, initially to produce shows in Los Angeles,
starting with a play she wrote, Stages, which garnered a NAACP Theater
Award Nomination. Before that, she was on the Artistic Committee of
Theatre 40 in Beverly Hills, heading their marketing/publicity team. For
three years, she served as an Ovation Award Voter for the L.A. Stage
Alliance.
On Broadway, Abigail has
worked as assistant to the lead producer and marketing associate on All My
Sons (with John Lithgow and Katie Holmes), assistant company manager on
Cyrano (with Kevin Kline and Jennifer Garner), and production assistant on
The Miracle Worker (with Hilary Swank). She was also administrative
assistant for the Off Broadway theater company, The New Group. For
nine years, she worked as agent and actor for the non-profit, Add Verb
Productions, selling and performing educational one-person shows, which
toured nationally.

Abigail
has also acted with Manhattan Theatre Club, Williamstown Theatre Festival,
Berkeley Repertory Theatre, California Shakespeare Festival, Dorset
Theatre Festival, Ensemble Theatre Company of Santa Barbara, Sacred Fools
and several others. On camera, she has worked with Brad and Angie on Mr. &
Mrs. Smith, Sarah Jessica Parker on Sex & The City, and Jerry Orbach
on Law & Order. She also had recurring roles on NYPD Blue and Days of Our
Lives.
Abigail received her B.A. in
Theater from Williams College and M.F.A. from the N.Y.U. Graduate Acting
Program. In 2008, she took three courses from Commercial Theatre
Institute, including the 14-Week Producer Program. She serves on the
Alumnae Arts Committee for The Brearley School, which she also attended,
and is on the Advisory Board of The Vineyard Playhouse on Martha’s
Vineyard. She is also a member of League of Professional Women, and an
adjunct member of The Broadway League.
